Eggless Ferrero Chocolate Tart
Actually who will say no to Ferrero chocolates, my daughter is a great fan of this chocolates and she loves it a lot. When i told that for our this month Baking Eggless, owned by Gayathri, ill be making her favourite chocolate as tart, she was very excited and seriously she bugged me to make this tart as quick as possible.Usually ill finish mostly all the challenges am participating very earlier. But unfortunately this time i was bit busy with some household stuffs and for the long marathon. Finally i prepared these fantabulous tarts last weekend and trust me its our favourite tart now, this tart goes for eggs but since am making these tart for Baking eggless event i prepared them as eggless, personally i didnt missed eggs here. A very buttery crust, very delicious smooth mousse and very nutty chocolatey hazelnut thing makes this tart an incredible dessert .Priya Srinivasan of En Veetu Kitchen suggested this tart from Trissalicious.Thanks Gayathri and Priya for suggesting us this beautiful tart.
My kids were behind me once i finished these tart and could have enough time to click them properly coz i prepared this tart almost very late in the evening, i clicked some pictures with the tart mould before the day light gets disappears, ill make these tart again and will put soon some decent pictures definitely. Trust me i reserved a tart for me to click and eat the next day but my hungry H finished my tart late in the nite.The whole cooking and baking process may goes for a long but this tart is definitely worth to try. If you want to make something different,chocolatey and very nutty tart from the usual fruits or chocolate tart,ill suggest definitelyto try this tart, do give a try friends, am sure you will definitely fallen in love with this beautiful dessert.

Tart base:
1+1/2cup Flour
1/4cup Sugar
1/4cup Yogurt
Salt
75grs Butter
1/2tsp Baking powder
2tbsp Cocoa powder
Pulse the butter and sugar together for few seconds.
Add the flour,baking powder, salt and mix everything with fingers until they turns moist and crumbled like dough.
Mix in the yogurt and turn everything as soft dough.
Wrap the dough and arrange in fridge for an hour.
Roll the dough between two baking sheet and cut as medium sized circles to fit your tart mould.
Bake them for 10minute at 350F and let them cool completely.
Hazelnut Mousse:
1cup Milk
1tbsp Custard powder
2tbsp Sugar
2tbsp Nutella
1cup Fresh cream
Bring boil the milk, add in the custard powder,sugar and nutella.
Stir continously until they turns thick.
Keep aside and let them cool completely.
Meanwhile whisk the fresh cream until the soft peaks form.
Add the whipped cream to the cool custard and mix them gently.
Take this mousse in a ziplock bag and rigerate until the tart base gets baked and cooled.
Caramelized Hazelnuts:
100grms Hazelnuts
1/4cup Sugar
2tbsp Water
Toast the hazelnuts in oven for 5-6minutes until a nice aroma comes from.
Allow it to cool and remove the skin from it.
Take the sugar and water in pan, bring it to boil.
Once the syrup starts bubbling, add in the toasted nuts, the syrup will start changing the colour.
Once its nicely brown, remove it from the fire and transfer it to a baking sheet.
When its completely cool, break it, keep aside few whole nuts and take the remaining nuts in food processor.
Grind as small pieces and keep aside.
Chocolate Hazelnut Thing:
2tbsp Nutella
50grms Chocolate (broken as pieces)
1/2tsp Oil
A pinch Salt
25grms Dark chocolate pieces
1/2tsp Light corn syrup or honey
4tbsp Grounded caramelized hazelnuts.
Take all the ingredients except the grounded caramelized hazelnuts in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 20seconds, stir in between.
Finally add in the hazelnuts,give a stir and keep aside.
Assembling the tart:
Pipe the hazelnut mousse on to the chocolate tart shells,top it with the chocolate hazelnut thing.
Finally top it with the caramelized whole hazelnuts.
Serve!!
